Job summary

DFAS is seeking a Security Specialist to develop and enforce site-specific security programs protecting government information at the Indianapolis location. You will lead annual INFOSEC reviews, address vulnerabilities, and implement corrective actions across PHYSEC, OPSEC, INFOSEC, SPECSEC and INDOSEC domains.

You will oversee secure storage facilities, ensure compliance for CUI and classified material, and provide ongoing security training for military, civilian, and on-site contractor staff.

Qualifications

• GS-11 specialized experience in enforcing site security plans.
• Ability to analyze information security problems and brief leadership on findings and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Develops, publishes, executes, enforces, and implements site-specific PHYSEC, OPSEC, INFOSEC, SPECSEC, INDOSEC policies and programs to protect government information.
• Conducts annual INFOSEC program reviews and analyzes weaknesses to modify and apply corrective solutions.
• Develops processes to prevent compromises of CUI and classified information.
• Monitors review and creation of classified information and oversees secure storage facilities.
• Establishes and delivers security education training for military, civilian, and on-site contractor personnel.
