Job summary

Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) seeks an Information Security Technical Operations Supervisor to lead the information security support group and manage FDLE's Information Security Program. The role requires oversight of staff, motivation, training and evaluation, and direct interaction with agency leadership on security matters.

The incumbent acts as FDLE’s Information Security Manager, guiding compliance with state laws, rules and policy, and supervising projects and security

Qualifications

• Five years of information technology experience in networking support, information security, server configuration and maintenance or desktop support.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the annual Information Security Strategic Plan and Operational Plan.
• Coordinate work with ITS sections to meet goals in the operational plan.
• Represent FDLE at Information Security Officers meetings and brief CIO.
• Prepare reports and analysis of information security laws, rules and guidelines.
• Lead development and maintenance of information security policies and procedures.
• Serve on CIRT/CSIRT and respond to critical cyber incidents.
• Support security tools such as EDR, SIEM, and vulnerability monitoring.
