Job summary

Planters Bank & Trust Company in Louisiana seeks an Information Security Officer to lead the bank's information security program, ensuring protection of customer data and banking systems. You will partner with IT, Risk, Internal Audit, and Compliance to implement risk-based controls.

The role requires a Bachelor's in cybersecurity or related field and at least five years in information security, with strong knowledge of NIST CSF, risk assessments, IAM, vulnerability management, and incident

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Five+ years of progressively responsible information security experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of banking regulations and cybersecurity requirements.
Experience developing and administering enterprise security programs.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS Controls, CRI).
Experience with IAM, vulnerability management, incident response, DR/BC, and vendor risk management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and oversee the Bank’s Information Security Program.
Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and internal policies.
Advise CRO on cybersecurity risk and collaborate with IT, Risk, Audit, and Compliance.
Maintain a risk-based security program to support security objectives.
Coordinate with multiple business units to manage security controls and responses.
