About The Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking an ISSO I.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Applies knowledge of sensitive system Cybersecurity requirements and Privacy Act requirements.
  • Applies knowledge and experience with the implementation of the NIST Special Publication (SP) 800 family of publications, particularly those associated with NIST’s Risk Management Framework and the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP).
  • Evaluates system, network, or infrastructure security controls against requirements such as FISMA, FIPS, and NIST guidelines.
  • Knowledge of DHS Information Security Policy Directives and Handbooks is preferred.
  • Utilizes standard IA concepts, practices, and procedures, working independently to solve problems quickly and completely.
  • Specialized experience with two of the following: vulnerability scanning execution, assessment, and analysis; operating system and network knowledge; information security and assurance principles; application, database, and network security.
  • Ability to assess and weigh current and evolving security threats.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Team player capable of collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree: 3 years of Cybersecurity & FISMA experience.
  • Master’s degree: 4 years of Cybersecurity & FISMA experience.
  • No Degree: 5 years of Cybersecurity & FISMA experience.

Skills/Certifications:

  • One of the following certifications or ability to obtain within 6 months: CISSP, CASP, CISM, CEH, SSCP, CAP, CISA, GISP, or similar approved by the Federal PM.

Additional Requirements:

  • US Citizenship required.
  • No physical requirements.
  • Location: Northern VA/DC Metro Area, on-site 2 days/week or remote.
