Summary

The Information Security Officer is responsible for management of the Contractor’s Information Security Office and ensuring compliance with the contract’s Information Security requirements.

Your role in our mission

• Compliance and operational focus.
• Lead security operational governance activities, multi-third-party services, and dedicated or shared industry services.
• Ensure delivery excellence in security tooling and business operations, avoiding non-performance or non-compliance penalties.
• Manage relationships with Gainwell Technologies suppliers and clients.
• Maintain an account security plan for the account(s) and products.
• Manage and report security incidents.
• Prepare for, facilitate, and remediate audits.
• Manage security risks and exceptions to standards.
• Implement security policies and standards (regulatory and contractual).
• Coordinate with the Security Incident Response team to escalate and resolve incidents.
• Deliver security metrics and reports to support contractual commitments.

What we're looking for

• At least 5 years' experience in computing or related areas, focusing on information security, technology, management, and policy, including security policy development, security administration, and vulnerability management.
• Minimum of 3 years' proven experience in technical and functional problem solving, project management, and security incident management.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• At least 3 years' experience in technology management or information security within government and healthcare settings, with familiarity in HIPAA, FIPS, FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST, and NIST CSF.
• Experience in at least three domains of the CISSP certification, such as Asset Security, Security and Risk Management, or Security Operations.
• One or more relevant certifications like CISM, GIAC, SSCP, CISA, or CISSP.

What you should expect in this role

• This is a remote role with frequent travel to Sacramento, CA, or willingness to relocate.
• Report to the Information Security Leader within the OCISO to coordinate security efforts.
• Collaborate with the Account Delivery Executive and security partners to leverage solutions and standards.

The salary range for this position is $97,300 - $168,000 annually, with variations based on location, experience, and other factors.
