Job summary

Intuitive Machines seeks an Information Assurance Manager (IAM)/Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) in Palo Alto, CA. You will oversee a portfolio of classified programs, ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 controls, and lead accreditation and de-certification activities throughout system lifecycles.

You will coordinate with government agencies, prepare and maintain SSPs, monitor POA&M, and mentor security professionals. Strong RMF, SIEM, and DoD 8570/8140 experience are required.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with TS/SCI clearance and CI poly.
• Experience implementing NISPOM Chapter 8 / ICD 503 / JSIG IS in SAP/SCI environments.
• CISSP and CISM certifications.
• GSLC certification obtainable within 6 months of hire.
• 8 years of related IT security experience.
• 2+ years in a classified (SCI) environment.
• Hands-on with SIEM tools for log analysis and correlation.
• Knowledge of information security standards.
• Experience with RMF assessment and authorization.
• DoD 8570/8140 certification requirements experience.
• Experience coordinating with government assessment teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Information System compliance across multiple programs.
• Maintain NIST 800-53 controls and SCTM documentation.
• Monitor POA&M to mitigate system vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate with government agencies for rulings and interpretations.
• Establish and monitor IS security program and SSPs.
• Prepare and maintain SSPs reflecting system security provisions.
• Lead and mentor security professionals on the team.
• Oversee insider threat program activities for assigned systems.
• Coordinate security incident response with government agencies.
• Ensure TEMPEST/EMSEC compliance for SCI systems.
