Job summary

GDIT is seeking a mid-level Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support RMF A&A and ConMon activities, ensuring compliance across multi-level environments. You will contribute to DSMS cybersecurity architecture and DoD IA standards for software/hardware across DSMS systems.

In this role, you will coordinate with DSMS teams, implement secure design practices, support system accreditation, and integrate cybersecurity throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Secret clearance required.
• Location: On Customer Site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with DSMS program teams to plan and create cybersecurity architecture and design documents ensuring compliance with DoD IA policies.
• Apply security controls using secure design and secure coding practices within an IS.
• Develop cybersecurity architecture and design plans for OS platforms, servers, devices, and applications.
• Provide security engineering support for accreditation of DSMS Networks.
• Integrate cybersecurity into lifecycle management, planning, migration, deployment and testing.
• Research, develop, test and document architectures for new cybersecurity technologies for the program and users.
• Create criticality analyses, vulnerability and risk assessments with countermeasures for mission-critical functions.
