Job summary

CommIT Enterprises, Inc. seeks an Information Systems Security Engineer - Junior in Oceanside, CA to support NSWC IHD AC2SN and DoD RMF processes.

You will assist in planning and executing cyber security requirements for PM Aviation Command and Control and Sensor Netting systems and ensure timely delivery of security artifacts. This hands-on role requires collaboration with customers, development of security plans, authorization packages, and ISCM activities, under CNSSI 1253 guidance and DoD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Management.
• Three (3) years of professional experience.
• At least two (2) years defining security programs for sensitive or classified information.
• Four (4) years of systems related experience or DoD 8570 IAT Level II qualifications may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Sec+, or equivalent, required.

Responsibilities

• Create authorization package records in MCCAST or eMASS for assigned systems.
• Support the determination of DFIA DL, CYBERSAFE grade, and security categorization IAW CNSSI 1253.
• Develop Security Plans and ISCM strategy for assigned systems.
• Assist with review of security control sets and address feedback during assessments.
• Maintain security posture and support security testing and SAP/POA&Ms.
