Job summary

Mojo Solutions and Services MSS LLC seeks an Information Security Engineer in Irvine, CA. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and minimum 2 years of security engineering experience, with hands-on firewall configuration, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.

Travel to various locations across the United States is frequently required. Hours are full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Network Engineering, Computer Networking, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2 years of experience as a Network & Security Engineer or related roles.
• 2 years of experience in firewall configuration and management and in security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection).

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Network Engineering, Computer Networking, Information Technology, or a related field. 2 years of experience as a Network & Security Engineer, Senior Network Engineer, IT Manager, Information Security Engineer, Senior Network & Security Specialist, or in a related job. 2 years of experience in the following skills: firewall configuration and management (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA); security tools including SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms; network monitoring and packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump); scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash; and version control systems such as GitHub for managing security scripts and playbooks.

Frequent travel required to unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
