The M&A security team has a new requirement to enable cloud posturing, reduce AE cloud risk, and apply vulnerability remediation activities to UHG acquired entities (AEs).

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Inventory AE cloud subscriptions
• Scan and assess AE cloud environments using cloud security posture management (CSPM) tooling
• Obtain and troubleshoot applicable user access needs related to public cloud activities for Security Shield
• Lead cloud solutioning for new and legacy AEs
• Reduce risk score of cloud findings, remediate critical cloud security findings and develop playbooks to streamline future remediation efforts
• Solve for ambiguous engineering capabilities in nonstandard environments, documenting requirements for future automation improvement
• Troubleshoot issues with public cloud and other M&A security technologies deployed to non-integrated entities as a part of Security Shield

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years public cloud experience
• 2+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments
• 2+ years of Cloud engineering (Azure, GCP, and AWS) and/or CSPM tooling (Prisma) experience
• Ability to implement newly created engineering capabilities in nonstandard environments and documenting requirements for future automation and improvement
• Ability to work with ambiguity and troubleshoot issues as they arise

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or GCP Associate certification

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
