Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking an experienced Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and Virtual Directory Services (VDS) Lead Engineer to design, implement, and modernize enterprise identity infrastructure across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

You will provide engineering leadership for AD DS, Entra ID, and RadiantOne VDS, driving platform stability, security, and complex integrations while supporting disaster recovery and audit requirements in a large enterprise setting.

Qualifications

Job Duration: 12months with possible extension, Hybrid

Summary

Seeking an experienced Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and Virtual Directory Services (VDS) Engineer responsible for the design, implementation, support, and modernization of enterprise identity infrastructure. This role provides engineering leadership across Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Microsoft Entra ID, authentication and federation services, identity synchronization platforms, and Virtual Directory Services (VDS), including RadiantOne Virtual Directory Server, which provides directory virtualization, identity data aggregation, LDAP federation, identity abstraction, and enterprise application integration across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. The engineer will drive platform stability, security, operational excellence, and strategic modernization initiatives while supporting complex integrations, disaster recovery preparedness, audit requirements, and enterprise identity services. Monitoring and observability capabilities are leveraged to support service health and operational awareness but are not the primary focus of the role.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
