Technology Talent Acquisition Specialist at Andiamo Partners

The Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining moderately complex security systems and controls to protect the organization from cyber threats. This role contributes to key IT and security initiatives and may lead projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams. A strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, frameworks, and practices is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and implement the organization’s information security strategy and roadmap.
• Identify security risks and vulnerabilities; develop and apply mitigation strategies.
• Lead the day-to-day operation of the vulnerability management program, including regular scanning, analysis, and reporting.
• Stay informed on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity technologies.
• Collaborate with system owners and IT teams to prioritize, track, and validate remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Define and document security requirements for systems, services, and applications.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security technologies.
• Monitor networks and systems for anomalies and indicators of compromise; respond accordingly.
• Develop and execute security controls to safeguard information assets.
• Build and maintain scripts, tools, and automation to support security operations.
• Perform forensic analysis and escalate threats when necessary.
• Provide education and training to staff on security policies and best practices.
• Participate in the Information Security on-call rotation, including occasional after-hours support.
