The Lubrizol Corporation in Wickliffe, OH is offering an Information Security Co-op for Spring 2027. You’ll gain real-world cybersecurity experience across security operations, governance, engineering, and incident response, preparing you for a future full-time role.

This hybrid 4-on-site / 1-remote day position supports ongoing projects in IAM, forensics, security awareness, and lab security while you study. A competitive hourly wage and tuition-relief benefits back your co-op experience.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Active student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security or a related field.
• Able to commit to three or more alternating semesters.
• Students with a 3.0 or greater GPA will be given priority consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work across Security Operations Center, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Security Engineering, Digital Forensics & Incident Response, Security Awareness, and IAM.
• Support security monitoring, incident response, and risk management activities.
• Assist with designing and implementing security controls and education programs.

In this role, you will work in one or more of the following areas within our Cybersecurity team:

• Security Operations Center: Monitor and respond to security incidents to protect the organization's information systems.
• Governance, Risk & Compliance: Ensure compliance with security policies and manage risk effectively.
• Security Engineering: Design and implement security solutions to protect digital assets.
• Digital Forensics & Incident Response: Investigate threats for how and why they hit IT systems.
• Security Awareness: Develop programs to educate employees about cybersecurity best practices.
• Operation Technology and Lab Security: Secure the operational technology environments and labs against cyber threats.
• Identity and Access Management: Manage user identities and access permissions to ensure data security.
