Job summary

Avalore, LLC is seeking an Information Security Analyst to design, implement, and manage cybersecurity controls for the War Data Platform (WDP) to meet DoD security requirements. You will conduct risk assessments, monitor events, and support incident response and threat management while collaborating with engineering and operations teams.

Responsibilities include RMF activities, compliance documentation, and enforcing least privilege in identity and access management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and security documentation tools.
• Security certifications or prior DoD/RMF experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cybersecurity controls for the War Data Platform.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments and monitor security events.
• Support RMF activities, audits, and compliance documentation with NIST/DoD controls.
• Assist with incident response, remediation, and threat management across the environment.
