Job summary

EliteService Staffing seeks an Information Security Analyst in Washington DC to protect our information assets and systems from cyber threats. You will conduct risk assessments, implement security controls, monitor networks, and respond to security incidents to maintain a strong security posture.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field and at least 3 years in information security, with strong knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management.

Profession Information Security City Washington DC USA The role of the Information Security Analyst is to protect and secure our organizations sensitive information and systems from potential cyber threats As an Information Security Analyst you will be responsible for conducting risk assessments implementing security measures monitoring network activity and responding to security incidents This is a full-time position based in Washington DC

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats to our information systems
• Implementing security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Monitoring network activity for any suspicious or malicious behavior and taking necessary actions to mitigate risks
• Responding promptly to security incidents investigating and conducting forensic analysis when necessary
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement incident response plans
• Staying up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies in order to continuously improve our organizations security posture

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security or related field
• Experience with biometric passport technology is preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of network protocols firewalls intrusion detectionprevention systems vulnerability management tools etc
• Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and analyze results to make informed recommendations for improvements
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this role

This is a full-time position with standard working hours
