Job summary

VivaVibe Productions in the United States is seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to protect our systems and data. You will work with IT colleagues to identify threats and implement safeguards.

Responsibilities include security audits, policy development, network monitoring and incident response, deploying firewalls and encryption, and disaster recovery planning. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in the field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as Information Security Analyst or similar.
• Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS, encryption techniques.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (Nessus/QualysGuard).
• Familiarity with ISO 27001/27002 or NIST CSF.

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in the US. As an Information Security Analyst you will be responsible for protecting our companys sensitive information and ensuring the security of our systems and networks. You will work with a team of IT professionals to identify potential security threats and implement measures to prevent them.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures and guidelines for the company.
• Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Implement security controls such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems and data encryption.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies and threats.
• Conduct employee training on information security best practices.
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure our systems are secure when working with third-party applications or services.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience working as an Information Security Analyst or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, data encryption techniques, etc.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or QualysGuard.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 27002 or NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Salary: This is a part‑time position with a salary of $1000 per month.

Location: This position is based in the US. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
