Job summary

Perfict Global, a leading IT consulting services provider, seeks an Information Security Analyst for a 6-month contract-to-hire engagement in Trenton, NJ. Hybrid work 3 days per week; candidate must be able to convert to full-time without sponsorship.

You will manage security audits, oversee testing, handle vulnerability scans, support incident response, and promote cybersecurity awareness, with cloud security duties in AWS and Azure.

Qualifications

• Experience with security incident response and remediation.
• Hands-on penetration testing and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with cloud security in AWS/Azure environments.

Responsibilities

Job description: Position: Information Security Analyst Duration: 6-month contract to hire FTE; candidate must be able to convert perm without sponsorship. Location: Hybrid 3X per week – 301 Sullivan Way West, Trenton, NJ 08628

Interview Process: 2 rounds

A day in the Life of this Role:

• Managing security compliance audits.
• Overseeing penetration testing processes.
• Handling vulnerability scans and reporting.
• Participating in cybersecurity awareness initiatives.
• On-call responsibilities for incident response.

Technical and Advisory Functions:

• Advising on secure configurations for AWS and Azure environments.
• Developing hardening standards for systems.
• Recommending and implementing security incident management systems (SIM).

Requirements:

• AWS experience is nice to have - they use both AWS and Azure - nobody on the team has any exceptionally strong cloud experience. (i.e. - configuring AWS servers security package)- so this is a very much desired experience they are looking for.
