  • Develop scripts and lightweight automation to streamline common technical support and operational processes.
  • Document procedures, run books, and troubleshooting guides to improve team efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Security Engineers to investigate issues, implement improvements, and contribute to larger security projects.
  • Support and maintain security services and tools, including hardware security keys (YubiKeys), SSH infrastructure, certificate management, and access control systems.
  • Analyze software to be installed on SpaceX systems for signs of malicious behavior.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in cyber security, computer science, engineering, information technology, or other STEM discipline; OR 2+ years of professional experience in information security in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with operating system internals for Linux, Windows, or macOS platforms.
  • Experience with scripting, including, but not limited to Bash, Python, PowerShell, or other programming languages.

  • Ability to manage a ticket queue and deliver excellent customer service in a fast‑paced technical environment.
  • Experience with Linux systems administration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with scripting (Bash, Python, or similar) and software engineering practices.
  • Understanding of information security principles (authentication, access control, encryption, etc.), including malware/software analysis.
  • Experience automating repetitive support tasks and building internal tools.
  • Familiarity with security tools commonly used in enterprise environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with YubiKeys, SSH, public key infrastructure, and basic security concepts.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical users.
  • Strong problem‑solving mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
