Job summary

Pfizer seeks a Manager, Information Protection & Technology Privacy to lead the enterprise information protection program and serve as the primary Privacy Advisor within GRC. This role protects sensitive data across IP, regulated data, and confidential business information, aligning with Pfizer policies and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent in a relevant field with years of experience in cybersecurity, privacy, or risk (per listing).
• Experience supervising or leading projects is required.
• Knowledge of U.S. privacy regimes (CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Advise on cybersecurity, information protection, and data privacy matters across the United States.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to guide strategic initiatives and technology projects.
• Assess and manage risks for business initiatives, apps, and third-party engagements.
• Ensure compliance with CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, and state privacy laws.
• Support regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Lead cybersecurity and data protection compliance programs and remediation.
• Monitor threats and regulatory developments to drive awareness.
• Define information protection controls and data labeling solutions.
• Support development of data protection policies and standards.
• Assist in incident response and remediation activities.
• Coordinate across time zones, including LATAM teams.
