Job summary

HII Mission Technologies’ Warfare Systems team at Fort Meade seeks an Information Operations Subject Matter Expert to support cyber and DoD operations. You will help unify cyberspace operations direction and strengthen DoD cyber capabilities for a critical client.

This mid-level role requires a Bachelor's degree and active TS/SCI with poly; JPME or related education is a plus. You may work within varying shifts to meet mission needs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience; additional four (4) years may substitute for education.

Job Description

Mission Technologies a division of HII - Warfare Systems team provides full-spectrum cyber, EW and space capabilities that address today’s rapidly changing, multi-domain global security threats, and anticipate emerging threats.

The Warfare Systems team is currently seeking an Information Operations Subject Matter Expert in support of an exciting effort supporting one of our clients that is responsible for unifying the direction of cyberspace operations, strengthening DoD cyberspace capabilities, and integrating and bolstering DoD's cyber expertise.

This contract supports ongoing operations within a combatant command. During periods of conflict, crisis, or other significant operational shifts, mission requirements may change rapidly. Additionally, when staffing adjustments occur, work schedules may need to be modified to maintain essential coverage. Accordingly, work shifts may be adjusted based on customer requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and a minimum of five (5) years of experience.

(Additional four (4) years of job-related experience may be substituted for education requirement)

Must possess an active TS/SCI/Polygraph for consideration

Preferred Requirements

• Serving as a Joint Operations Planner (Planning experience may be substituted with completion of an advanced service planner school (SAMS, SAASS, JAWS, etc.).

• Working knowledge of the JPP, JOPES and APEX planning formats and guidance.

• Providing expert SAP, IJSTO, security and IO expert support, analysis and research into complex problems and processes relating to the subject matter.

• Serving as a technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives.

• Guiding the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.

• Specialized education in military joint operations planning through the JPME II from a CJCS accredited joint education program listed in CJCSI 1800.01E (The JIOPC, or other similar military operations planning courses, may be substituted for JPME II).
