The Unconventional is seeking a qualified Information Operations (IO) / Multi-Domain SME to support our team on multiple SOCPAC exercise events. The IO SME delivers specialized expertise in Operations in the Information Environment (OIE) to the SOCPAC ECG.

Qualifications

• Experience constructing synthetic information environments integrating MISO, MILDEC, OPSEC, and EW in the USPACOM AOR.
• Proven ability to support SOF training and exercise events.
• Willingness and availability for 12-hour shifts during exercise support.
• Active SECRET clearance required; TS/SCI eligible or in process.

Responsibilities

• Construct a complex synthetic information environment with MISO, MILDEC, OPSEC and EW vignettes.
• Replicate adversary, civilian, and neutral information actors and generate dynamic responses.
• Monitor training audience assessment and targeting processes and adjudicate effectiveness.
• Keep non-kinetic MSEL timelines synchronized with kinetic Ground, Maritime, and Air ops.
• Coordinate with Exercise Design Lead during exercises.

Summary

The Unconventional is seeking a qualified Information Operations (IO) / Multi-Domain SME to support our team on multiple SOCPAC exercise events. The Information Operations SME delivers specialized expertise in Operations in the Information Environment (OIE) to the SOCPAC ECG.

Duties

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

• This involves constructing a complex, synthetic information environment that integrates Military Information Support Operations (MISO), Military Deception (MILDEC), Operations Security (OPSEC), and electronic warfare (EW) vignettes reflecting the current pacing threat's gray-zone and narrative warfare tactics in the USPACOM AOR.
• During execution, the contractor replicates adversary, civilian, and neutral information actors, generating dynamic responses and assessments, synthetic media reports, and adversary propaganda. The IO SME monitors the training audience's assessment and targeting processes, adjudicates the effectiveness of friendly non-kinetic lines of effort, and ensures non-kinetic MSEL timelines stay synchronized with kinetic Ground, Maritime, and Air operations in coordination with the Exercise Design Lead.
• Exercise support is expected to take place:
  • Keen Sword CPX, 16-28 OCT 2026 in Oahu, HI.
  • PACSENTRY 27-1 CPX, 31 MAR-15 APR 2027 in Oahu, HI.
  • PACSENTRY 27-2 CPX, 31 MAY-17 JUN 2027 in Oahu, HI.

Required Qualifications

• Must possess Information Operations (IO)/Multi-Domain experience: involves constructing a complex, synthetic information environment that integrates Military Information Support Operations (MISO), Military Deception (MILDEC), Operations Security (OPSEC), and electronic warfare (EW) vignettes reflecting the current pacing threat's gray-zone and narrative warfare tactics in the USPACOM AOR.
• Must have experience supporting SOF training and exercise events.
• Must be able to conduct 12-hour shift work during exercise support events.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
• Must possess proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite tools.

Clearance: Requires an active SECRET clearance.

Location: Oahu, HI

Travel: CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.
