Under administrative direction of the Supervisor II in the Office of Communications, the Information Officer (IO) II has responsibility to conduct public relations strategies and communications to increase public information and education associated with the Attorney General’s Office, through various media forums. The IO II will consult with and advise executive staff of the public relations implications related to the department’s activities.
Working Conditions
This position has been designated as eligible for telework and is currently a remote-centered position. The position may however require in-person attendance when requested. The selected candidate would report to Department of Justice office in San Francisco when required to attend mandated in-person meetings, trainings, etc. Expenses related to travel to the office for required events are the responsibility of the employee. All telework schedules are subject to change and may be reevaluated at any time.
