Job summary

Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is seeking an Information Governance-Matter Mobility Coordinator to support its Information Governance team across multiple offices, including Denver. You will oversee client content onboarding, transfers, and compliance, working with IT and legal teams to ensure secure, efficient transitions.

The role requires 5+ years in information governance or records, with 2+ years in Matter Mobility, and strong MS Office/Smartsheet skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years related experience in information governance/records administration.
• 2+ years of Matter Mobility experience.
• Law firm experience preferred but not required.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding of client content per firm standards and processes.
• Serve as liaison between lateral attorneys' previous firms and internal teams.
• Coordinate with IT to load electronic content into systems of record and oversee secure data destruction.
• Manage validation, indexing, and organization of physical records with onsite teams.
• Monitor compliance with policies and records procedures during onboarding and transfers.
• Maintain reports, logs, and documentation for onboarding and transfer operations.
• Provide recommendations to improve onboarding workflows and reporting.
• Train teams on onboarding and transfer procedures and best practices.
• Review and verify transfer requests for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate notifications with internal departments and external groups.
