Job summary

Weyerhaeuser in Seattle seeks an Information Governance Experienced Analyst to drive enterprise data governance efforts. You will document data definitions, map data flows, and enable governance across systems using Microsoft Purview and Power BI to manage metadata and CDEs.

Collaborating with Data Owners, Data Stewards, and IT, you’ll scale governance practices, improve data quality, and deliver stakeholder-ready dashboards that illustrate governance value across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information systems, business, or CS.
• 3–5+ years in data governance, management, or analytics.
• Translate governance concepts into practical business outcomes.
• Strong data flow analysis, metadata management, and documentation.
• Proficiency with Power BI for validation and governance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Drive governance work from intake through delivery within standards.
• Document data definitions, data flows, and metadata assets.
• Use Power BI to analyze data quality and produce dashboards.
• Engage stakeholders to enable adoption of governed data.
• Support AI governance capabilities and data stewardship.
