Job summary

SAIC is seeking an Information Designer to support the Commander’s Action Group at Fort Meade, MD. You will transform strategic intent into operational visuals and ensure precise executive communications across a complex ecosystem required to achieve the mission.

You will design executive briefings and dashboards, translate AI architectures into intuitive visuals for senior leaders, and develop visual aids for multi-domain scenarios.

Qualifications

• BS and 10 years of work experience; four additional years may substitute for a degree.
• Experience and understanding of multi-domain military operations.
• Proficiency in professional design tools and data visualization.
• Ability to translate abstract strategic concepts into intuitive visual flows.
• Multimedia design and understanding of military operations.

Responsibilities

• Transform complex AI data and strategic concepts into high-impact visual intelligence for briefing the Commander on progress across Lines of Effort.
• Design executive-level briefings and dashboards to enable informed decisions by the Commander.
• Develop visual aids for multi-domain scenarios.
• Translate complex network diagrams and AI architectures into intuitive visuals for non-technical senior leaders.
• Ensure outward-facing communications align with Combatant-level standards and higher HQ messaging.
• Draft executive speeches, talking points, and white papers.
• Develop comprehensive technical summaries of AI capabilities for decision processes.

Description

SAIC is seeking an Information Designer to serve on a Commander's Action Group (CAG) supporting our customer at Fort Meade, MD. The information designer will be part of a close team that is required to achieve the customer's long-term vision, translating strategic intent into operational execution and ensuring the precision of executive communications across the complex, multi-faceted ecosystem required to achieve the customer's mission.

Job Duties

• Under general direction, transforms complex AI data and strategic concepts into high-impact visual intelligence, essential for briefing the Commander on the progress of all Lines of Effort.
• Design executive-level briefings and dashboards that enable the Commander to make informed decisions.
• Develop visual aids for multi-domain scenarios.
• Translate complex network diagrams and AI architectures into intuitive visual aids for non-technical senior leaders.
• Ensure all outward-facing communications are consistent with Combatant-level standards and higher headquarters' messaging.
• Drafts executive-level speeches, talking points, and white papers.
• Develop comprehensive technical summaries of AI capabilities for use in the Commander's decision process.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• BS and ten (10) years of work experience; four (4) years additional work experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience and understanding of multi-domain military operations.
• Proficiency in professional design tools and data visualization.
• Ability to take abstract strategic concepts and turn them into logical, intuitive visual flows.
• Multi-media design, understand military operations.

Required Clearances

• Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance and CI Polygraph. Polygraph must have been completed within the last five years.

Target salary range $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
