The Opportunity:
Are you looking to help the Department of Defense (DoD) identify emerging technologies that might help develop the future joint force and our nation's civilian workforce? As an experienced professional, you know that innovative technologies offer a range of applications that may influence future military and civilian capabilities. We are looking for someone like you to help a Defense client identify early-stage research with the potential to accelerate innovative solutions to complex DoD challenges. The Information Assurance Technician shall be responsible for the information assurance of ATRRS. The Information Assurance Technician shall develop information systems assurance programs and control guidelines and assist in resolving technical problems, priorities, and methods.
The Information Assurance Technician shall have the following qualifications:
Experience supporting FISMA-related programs.
Experience supporting Certification and Accreditation activities for DoD and Federal systems using NIST Special Publications 800-37 and the DoD RMF.
Experience with Eye Digital Security Retina and AppScan Gold Disk.
CSSP or other Cyberspace Operations Forces certification in accordance with DoDM 8140.03.
Experience with developing and exercising of contingency and continuity of business plans for information systems.
• BA/BS with 5+ yrs experience or AA with 7+ yrs experience
• Must meet requirements of DoD Directives 8570.01M.
• Experience using/managing an ACAS infrastructure.
• 6+ years’ experience working in a DOD environment (Contractor/Civilian/Military), preferably Army.
• 1+ years’ experience in security test & evaluation under RMF (DODI 8510.01, March 2014) in operational IP based network environments.
• Extensive Experience with KASM management, GITLAB management and vulnerability scanning tools (ie: Fortify, twistlock, etc).
• Experience developing Cyber or Physical Security CONOPS.
• Demonstrated experience with McAfee HBSS (ePO, HIPS, Anti-Virus, etc…).
• Thorough understanding of DoD Information Technology best practices.
• Thorough understanding of DoD Cybersecurity best practices.
• Thorough knowledge of DODD 8500.1, DODI 8500.2, and other IA guidance.
• Demonstrated experience with security / validation testing tools to include vulnerability scanners (Retina, Nessus), DISA STIGs, SRR, and DISA checklists.
