Job summary

Swift seeks an Information Assurance Systems Engineer (Levels 2-4) in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role focuses on requirements generation, allocation, and tracking across the development cycle to ensure security certification readiness.

Will develop technical docs, system architecture, and test plans, ensuring technical integrity of work in Systems Engineering. Responsibilities include delivering work products, analyzing design alternatives, and supervising contractor staff.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of experience as a HDE in integrated circuit or microelectronic component design is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is required.
• Four (4) years of additional hardware design engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Ten (10) years of IA system development experience and a Bachelor's degree are required for Level 3.
• Fifteen (15) years of IA system development experience and a Bachelor's degree are required for Level 4.
• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required.

The Information Assurance Systems Engineer participates in system, hardware, and software design activities with focus on requirements generation, allocation, and tracking throughout the development cycle to ensure support for security certification. Develops technical documentation and product capability presentations. Develops system architecture and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and the deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.

Level 4

• Fifteen (15) years of IA system development experience and an Engineering or Computer Science Bachelor’s degree.
• An additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
• Master’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science may be used to substitute 2 years of experience and a PHD in Engineering or Computer Science may be used to substitute 4 years of experience.
• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
