As an Information Assurance Specialist II, you will be joining a dynamic team providing invaluable support to a large government contract performing applied laboratory research across a diverse range of biological and chemical biological disciplines. Operating in a collaborative environment, this position is responsible for information systems and data management support for a laboratory program, helping ensure that operational and scientific data are secure, accessible, and effectively maintained. This role supports databases, servers, networks, applications, files, and LIMS; identifies upgrade and contingency needs; gathers user requirements; and helps design or implement system enhancements. The position also supports backups, testing events, documentation, and system compliance activities across the information management environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, responsiveness to operational issues, and the ability to work effectively with government sponsors, technical teams, and other key stakeholders in support of complex national security and laboratory operations.

This full-time position is contingent upon contract award and will be in Washington DC.
Battelle is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is $98,000 – $139,000 per year, in addition to our comprehensive benefits package. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. Salary ranges may vary based on geographic location and market conditions.
