Hawaiian Electric Companies in Honolulu seeks an Information Assurance Analyst to assess and secure systems and networks, supporting risk assessments and security architecture proposals. You will help develop controls for new applications and assist in IT governance and compliance activities.

The role requires knowledge of threat management, incident response, and privacy requirements. Occasional on-call support and participation in emergency response are expected as part of this position.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting information security risk assessments.
• Familiar with vulnerability management and incident response.
• Knowledge of cryptography, network security, and privacy requirements.

Responsabilités

• Performs information security risk assessments and recommends mitigating controls.
• Assists with system assessments for conformance with policy and guidance.
• Assists with program development for privacy, e-discovery, security awareness, and forensics.
• Performs miscellaneous administrative roles and scheduling tasks.
• Supports IT disaster recovery and cybersecurity incident response planning.
• Participates in company emergency response activities as assigned.
