Job summary

Human Options in Santa Ana, CA is seeking an Information and Resource (I&R) Specialist who will register clients, provide information, linkages, and referrals for basic needs, mental health, housing, and related services. The role supports data entry and outreach under a supervisor.

Two full-time openings exist: one regular and one temporary. You will respond to walk-ins, calls, and emails; facilitate connections between clients and service providers; organize emergency assistance and donations;

Qualifications

• High School diploma or commensurate work experience.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of domestic violence, child abuse, and elder abuse issues.
• Proficient in database management, referral tracking, and precise documentation.
• Organize and prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.

Summary

Under the supervision of the Community Based Services Supervisor, the Information and Resource (I&R) Specialist provides and assists with registrations, information, linkages, and referrals to individuals and families seeking services pertaining to basic needs, mental health, case management, housing, etc. The Information and Referral Specialist is also responsible for data entry and outreach.

We are looking for two (2) I&R

• One (1) regular, full time
• One (1) temporary, full time
