Position Summary
Leverages technology and data to improve healthcare outcomes by designing, implementing, and maintaining health information systems, analyzing quality healthcare data, and applying statistical analysis to create effectiveness analyses and other health outcomes analyses. Applies expertise in healthcare and information technology to ensure efficient data management, promote data-driven insights, and enhance the delivery of healthcare services

• Support Medicaid markets on analysis of key improvement activities and interventions, including analyzing for intervention effectiveness

• Leads management of the quality data, reporting, and analytics function to help internal teams draw meaningful conclusions.

• Conducts thorough literature reviews, when appropriate, to understand the current state of quality initiatives to ensure understanding of industry benchmarks

• Designs and implements dashboards using PowerBI, Tableau, or other systems to present data in meaningful way to all different levels of audiences

• Determines best approaches to define data models, statistical methods, and data reporting to ensure sound data presentation

• Converts results of data analysis into meaningful business information to disseminate conclusions about the overall function of the department

• Performs quantitative and qualitative data analysis to achieve operational targets

Required Qualifications

At least 5 years experience in managed care, hospital, or similar healthcare environment
• Must have statistical analysis skills and able to analyze and interpret data
• Must be proficient in all Microsoft office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint as well as Tableau and/or PowerBI or similar dashboarding software

• Must be articulate and able to communicate to multiple internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred

• Medicaid managed care experience

Education

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
