ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNOLOGIES LLC is seeking a senior Data Engineer to lead the dbt/Snowflake migration from Informatica on Azure. You will design modular models, establish standards, and drive performance optimizations across staging, core and mart layers.

You will oversee the migration factory, validation runs, and hands-on development of dbt models, tests and documentation while setting up dev/test/prod environments and enforcing code quality.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Data Engineering/ETL/Data Warehousing.
• 3+ years hands-on dbt development in production pipelines.
• Experience migrating Informatica workloads to dbt on Snowflake (Azure).
• Strong Snowflake design, warehouses, views and performance tuning.
• Proficient with Azure data stack: ADF, ADLS, Azure DevOps/GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Define target ELT architecture with dbt on Snowflake integrated with Azure services.
• Translate Informatica mappings/workflows into modular dbt models across layers.
• Lead migration strategy, roadmap, and wave planning for Informatica to dbt.
• Oversee conversion, unit testing and parallel runs to validate outputs.
• Develop dbt models, seeds, snapshots, tests, macros and documentation.
• Define testing strategy with dbt tests and data quality checks.
• Set up and maintain dbt environments (dev/test/prod) and connections.
• Enforce code quality and conduct PRs/reviews.
