Job summary

Nasscomm, Inc. is seeking a skilled MDM Developer for a 5-month remote role with travel to drive an enterprise transformation using SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and SAC-P. You will own Master Data Management applications, architecting, developing, and delivering high-quality data solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include solution architecture, requirements gathering with business users, and optimizing data management frameworks, collaborating with global teams across locations.

Qualifications

Duration: 5 Months

About the Role

We are embarking on a major enterprise transformation of our Finance and reporting solutions utilizing SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and the SAC-P platform. We are seeking a self-motivated MDM Developer to join our team, take ownership of our Master Data Management (MDM) applications, and support this large-scale digital transformation. You will act as an independent contributor capable of architecting, developing, and delivering high-quality master data solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture & Development: Architect and develop innovative, framework-based, high-performance MDM solutions independently, adhering strictly to SDLC best practices.
• Requirements & Stakeholder Engagement: Interact directly with business users to gather requirements, translate needs into technical deliverables, and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders.
• Process & System Optimization: Identify and implement continuous process improvements, leveraging out-of-the-box MDM features to minimize custom coding.
• Global Collaboration & Support: Support active solutions and collaborate seamlessly with distributed, cross-functional teams across multiple geographical locations.
• Technical Ownership: Drive individual accountability, excel in a fast-paced environment, and proactively optimize data management frameworks.

Technical Qualifications

Must-Have Skills:

• MDM Hub Development: Extensive experience across all MDM Hub components, including Cleanse Functions, Security, Packages/Queries, and Hierarchy Management.
• Data Matching & Consolidation: Expertise in Consolidation Models, Trust Frameworks, Match/Merge rules, and automated/manual merge strategies.
• Provisioning Tool & Business Entity Framework:
• Proficiency with Provisioning Tool triggers, task types, and consolidation-based workflows.
• Experience designing custom UI layouts using the Business Entity Framework (specifically for manual Match/Merge roles).
• Hands-on experience configuring MDM File Import processes and Hierarchy Management structures.
• ActiveVOS Workflow: Experience designing, developing, and customizing ActiveVOS workflows.
• External Calls & Integration:
• Proven background with Business Entity Services (BES) External Calls.
• Database & SQL: Ability to write complex SQL scripts, functions, and stored procedures tailored for MDM processing.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with data integration using Informatica PowerCenter ETL in an SAP environment.
• Java development skills for building custom web services and integrations.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
