Job summary

Apexon is hiring Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services Developers to support HHSC with data integration, quality, and governance initiatives. Remote work is available; strong IICS, Snowflake, and data modeling skills are preferred.

You will implement Medallion Architecture and collaborate across teams to ensure data integrity and usable data products. The role emphasizes ETL development, metadata management, and end-to-end data pipeline delivery in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
• Experience building and maintaining data integration workflows for ingestion, transformation, orchestration, scheduling, monitoring, and error handling.
• Knowledge of data quality profiling, validation, rules, thresholds, and exception handling.
• Experience creating source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, and technical designs.
• Understanding of data quality controls including completeness, validity, consistency, and timeliness.
• Experience with ETL development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Ability to document technical and operational metadata.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Medallion Architecture: Bronze, Silver, Gold data layers.
• Design and develop Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, and data models.
• Build and operate IICS data integration workflows for ingestion, transformation, orchestration, scheduling, monitoring, and error handling.
• Use IICS data quality features to profile data, define quality rules, validate results, and document exceptions.
• Maintain business glossary, metadata, lineage, and data ownership using governance tools.
• Configure metadata harvesting, catalog scanning, and lineage capture with approved tools.
• Develop source-to-target mappings, transformation specs, data dictionaries, and operational procedures.
• Apply data quality controls for completeness, validity, consistency, and timeliness.
• Support integration with SFTP, Azure Blob Storage, Snowflake, and other agency platforms.
• Execute unit, integration, regression, data quality, reconciliation, and end-to-end validation tests.
• Provide end-user training and knowledge transfer to HHSC staff and data owners.

Role Overview

We are seeking Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) Developers to support enterprise data integration, data quality, and governance initiatives for HHSC. The ideal candidates will have hands on experience with IICS and preferably Snowflake, along with the ability to develop and maintain data integration workflows, implement Medallion Architecture, and support enterprise data management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the approved Medallion Architecture, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers.
• Design and develop Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, data models, and curated data products.
• Use Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) to build and operate data integration workflows for ingestion, transformation, orchestration, scheduling, monitoring, and error handling.
• Use IICS data quality capabilities to profile data, define quality rules and thresholds, validate results, and document exceptions and remediation.
• Maintain business glossary terms, metadata, classifications, data domains, lineage, ownership, and stewardship assignments using approved governance and catalog tools or processes.
• Configure and support metadata harvesting, catalog scanning, lineage capture, and metadata completeness monitoring using approved tools and connectors.
• Develop source to target mappings, transformation specifications, data dictionaries, technical designs, and operational procedures.
• Apply data quality controls for completeness, validity, consistency, uniqueness, timeliness, referential integrity, and reconciliation, as applicable.
• Support integration with SFTP, Azure Blob Storage, Snowflake, and other approved Agency platforms.
• Execute unit, integration, regression, data quality, reconciliation, and end to end validation testing.
• Document technical and operational metadata to support future enterprise data catalog and governance implementations.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily coordination, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and quality gate activities.
• Support production deployment, cutover, hypercare, troubleshooting, and transition to operations.
• Provide end user training, demonstrations, knowledge transfer, and support to HHSC staff and data owners.
• Comply with HHSC security, privacy, accessibility, documentation, change control, and operational requirements.

Education Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
