Herdt Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Informatica IDMC Data Governance Engineer to support a large-scale Workday deployment for a state government client.
You will engineer governance capabilities across cloud apps, legacy systems, databases, and downstream consumers, turning requirements into scalable configurations and repeatable processes. You will implement metadata ingestion, cataloging, data domain structures, and governance workflows, collaborating with stakeholders to improve
Qualifications
- Hands-on implementation or engineering with Informatica IDMC data governance/catalog capabilities.
- Experience with metadata ingestion, catalogs, glossaries, classifications, and workflows.
- Ability to translate governance concepts into scalable technical configurations.
- Strong communication across technical and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Configure and enhance Informatica Cloud Data Governance and CDGC capabilities.
- Implement metadata ingestion, cataloging, asset organization, classifications and glossary structures.
- Configure scanners/connectors and onboard enterprise data sources into governance.
- Translate governance requirements into technical platform configurations and workflows.
- Support stewardship workflows, ownership, policies, and data-domain structures.
- Collaborate with lineage, data quality, architecture, integration, security, and business teams.
