Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Informatica IDMC Developer / Technical Lead with a strong background in ETL, Hadoop and Oracle. The role requires at least 8 years of experience and hands-on skills in data integration, warehousing and data quality.

The candidate will design, develop, and optimize ETL processes, work in Agile teams, and coordinate with cross-functional groups to deliver scalable data solutions. Strong SQL/PLSQL and Autosys are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience with IDMC migration projects is required.
• Strong ETL development skills using Informatica PowerCenter or similar tools.
• Experience with Agile methodology and code versioning tools like Bitbucket.
• Proficient in SQL/PLSQL for data extraction, transformation and loading.
• Exposure to Hadoop ecosystem including HDFS, MapReduce.
• Experience with job scheduling tools such as Autosys.
• Data warehousing and data modeling skills.
• Data quality and data cleansing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ETL processes driving data flows.
• Implement data transformations, JSON/XML parsing and advanced transformations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver ETL solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize ETL performance and SQL scripts.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL jobs.
• Perform unit, integration and system testing of ETL processes.
• Ensure data quality and integrity across data pipelines.
• Develop relational and dimensional data models for BI workloads.
