Tata Consultancy Services in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Informatica Developer with 10+ years in ETL and data integration. You will design and optimize data pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud, and work with Oracle/ Teradata environments to ensure robust ingestion and performance.

Responsibilities include production monitoring, debugging across Informatica, Spark, Oracle, and shell scripts, plus deployments across Dev to Prod stacks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in ETL development and data integration.
• Design, build, and deploy ETL mappings, sessions, and workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud.
• Expertise in SQL/PL-SQL, databases such as Oracle, Teradata, and SQL Server; optimize data ingestion and performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot production ETL jobs and data pipelines.
• Debug Informatica mappings, Spark tasks, Oracle scripts, and shell scripts.
• Maintain operating procedures and generate performance reports.
• Assist with deployments and migrations across Dev, SIT, UAT, Prod environments.
• Use Unix/Linux commands, SQL, and scripting (Python, Shell) for automation.
• Utilize monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog) and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira).
• Configure session objects and optimize Spark engines for high-volume ingestion.

Roles & Responsibilities

Development Responsibilities

• ETL Pipeline Development: Design, build, and deploy robust ETL mappings, sessions, and workflows utilizing informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud.
• Data Integration & Modeling: Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts. Work with relational databases like Oracle, Teradata, or SQL Server to ingest and integrate data.
• Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot and resolve data bottlenecks; tune SQL queries and Informatica mappings for optimal performance and high-volume data ingestion.

Manage Prod RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor production environments, respond to alerts, and resolve technical issues, including tracking incidents against SLAs and preventing recurring issues through RCA.
• Debug Informatica, Spark, Oracle and Shell scripting code, analyze logs, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Maintain, document, and update system operating procedures, and provide performance reports.
• Assist with code deployments and migrations through environment stacks (Dev, SIT, UAT, Prod).
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux commands, SQL for database querying, performance tuning and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog), ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow), and cloud platforms.
• Configuring session objects, optimizing Spark engines, and managing file descriptors for high-volume data ingestion.
