Job summary

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in Informatica development.
• Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Developer Suite.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
• Experience with Oracle databases; exposure to PostgreSQL is helpful.
• Proficiency in Python scripting; Linux/Unix environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and related tools.
• Write and optimize SQL/PLSQL queries within Oracle databases.
• Use Python scripting for automation and data processing tasks.
• Monitor workflows and troubleshoot performance issues and failures.
• Analyze Informatica architecture to identify memory constraints and bottlenecks.
• Recommend and implement improvements to workflows, mappings, and performance.
• Support multiple concurrent data integration projects.
• Convert healthcare data files into structured formats like CSV or flat files.
• Support upgrades and integration of in-house applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and related developer tools

• Use Python scripting for automation and data processing tasks

Skills and Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience in Informatica development


• Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Developer Suite


• Strong SQL and PL/SQL development skills


• Experience with Oracle databases, exposure to PostgreSQL is helpful


• Proficiency in Python scripting


• Experience working in Linux or Unix environments


• Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize data workflows


• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision


• Experience working with healthcare data and industry standards


• Familiarity with CMS regulations and healthcare data formats such as HL7 or EDI


• Experience supporting data conversions and transformation libraries


• Background in client onboarding and workflow customization


• Experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud is a plus
