Job summary

Insight Global in San Diego is seeking an Informatica Developer with strong backend data engineering experience to support multiple healthcare data integration projects. The role focuses on building, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines across internal applications.

You will work independently, handle multiple priorities, and actively improve system performance and reliability. Requirements include 5–7+ years in Informatica development, SQL/PLSQL, Python scripting, Linux/Unix, and Oracle

Qualifications

5-7+ years of experience in Informatica development.
Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Developer Suite.
Strong SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
Experience with Oracle databases; exposure to PostgreSQL is helpful.
Proficiency in Python scripting; Linux/Unix environment experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and related tools.
Write and optimize SQL/PLSQL queries within Oracle databases.
Use Python scripting for automation and data processing tasks.
Monitor workflows and troubleshoot performance issues and failures.
Analyze Informatica architecture to identify memory constraints and bottlenecks.
Recommend and implement improvements to workflows, mappings, and performance.
Support multiple concurrent data integration projects.
Convert healthcare data files into structured formats like CSV or flat files.
Support upgrades and integration of in-house applications.
