Job summary

Nightwing seeks a full-time Information Review and Release Analyst for our litigation team in the Herndon, VA area. The role focuses on declassification of documents related to civil or criminal cases, requiring meticulous records and confidentiality, and coordination with OGAs and legal counsel.

The analyst will organize documents for review, apply redaction codes, determine release recommendations, and document decisions in client systems.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of FOIA, PA, EOMDR, EO 13526 programs.
• Experience collaborating with OGAs and Office of General Counsel (OGC).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and redact equities in classified documents per SOPs.
• Submit scan requests to scanning team for research.
• Submit initial data searches to the data/research teams.
• Assist with training of new search team members.
• Collaborate with supervisory POCs to improve processes.
• Work an eight-hour shift between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday.
• Provide surge support outside regular hours when needed.
