Job summary

Aro Homes is seeking a Development Manager to lead end-to-end pre-construction for single-family infill projects in Mountain View and the Peninsula. You will drive feasibility, entitlement, utility planning, permitting, and cross-functional coordination with internal teams and local municipalities.

Reporting to the Director of Project Development, you will own site assessments, cost definitions, and permit submissions, while expediting approvals and maintaining project momentum.

Qualifications

• Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating with municipalities, consultants, and vendors.
• Background in residential infill development or land development preferred.
• Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and permits.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead land development activities for infill lots, including feasibility, budgeting, and permitting.
• Develop and control land development and permitting schedules, coordinating critical paths.
• Conduct site assessments and define development costs with Acquisitions and Site Ops.
• Build relationships with neighbors, municipalities, and third parties.
• Coordinate utilities disconnect/reconnect and secure demolition permits.
• Provide administrative support to the department as directed by the manager.
• Anticipate and solve problems while driving process improvements.
