Job summary

The BU CHART Post-Doctoral Research Fellow will be a member of the Boston University School of Medicine, Section of Infectious Diseases. The Research Fellow will partake in a clinical, transnational or basic research project under an assigned participating faculty mentor of the training program.

They will design, conduct, and analyze a study, obtaining a comprehensive understanding of design issues, IRB considerations and manuscript preparation.

Qualifications

• MD or PhD required.
• Experience or interest in HIV/AIDS clinical research encouraged.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, conduct, and analyze studies with a faculty mentor.
• Maintain protocol integrity and safety in clinical research.
• Prepare technical reports and manuscripts.
• Assist with grant writing and study submissions.
• Present at ROC meetings and RIP conferences.
• Coordinate with study staff and ensure data quality.
