Job summary

Kaiser Permanente / The Permanente Medical Group in Northern California seeks a BC/BE Infectious Diseases physician to join our collaborative ID team in Oakland/Richmond. The position is 0.8 FTE with flexibility to increase to 1.0 FTE for the right candidate.

Ideal candidate will have training in Transplant Infectious Diseases or strong experience with immunocompromised hosts, including hematologic malignancies, cellular therapies, and BMT.

Qualifications

• BC/BE Infectious Diseases physician required or eligible for ABIM certification.
• Formal training in Transplant Infectious Diseases or substantial experience preferred.
• Experience caring for immunocompromised hosts, including hematologic malignancies and cellular therapies.

Responsibilities

• Provide Infectious Diseases clinical care in a high-volume academic-practice setting.
• Collaborate with hematology/oncology and cellular therapy teams.
• Participate in general ID call (1:6 rotation) and contribute to program growth.
