Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System seeks an infectious diseases faculty member to join its expanding team. This physician will support the department's mission of delivering high-quality care while fulfilling teaching, research, and academic responsibilities at the region's quaternary referral center.

Services span onsite campuses and telemedicine across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will involve inpatient attending rounds, a weekly ID ambulatory clinic, and participation in scholarly

Qualifications

• Internal Medicine board certification is required.
• Completion of an ID fellowship by date of hire is required.
• Infectious Diseases board certification within one year of appointment is required.
• Kansas medical license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-patient attending consultation rounds in rotation with other faculty.
• Maintain a weekly Infectious Diseases ambulatory clinic.
• Provide formal educational instruction by presenting at key Internal Medicine and ID conferences.
• Mentor house staff and students and contribute to scholarly activities.

Education

Internal Medicine board certification

Completion of an accredited Infectious Diseases Fellowship program

Infectious Diseases board certification within one year of appointment

Kansas medical license
