Nicklaus Children’s Hospital is seeking an ID/ASP Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to join the team in Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs, and Miami main campus. You will actively participate in rounds, optimize antimicrobial therapy, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pharmacists to improve patient outcomes while adhering to hospital policies and state/federal laws.

The role includes cost-effective pharmacotherapy, formulary stewardship, and staff education.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in Florida in good standing
• Experience with infectious disease pharmacotherapy and stewardship
• Ability to communicate effectively with hospital staff and patients

Responsabilités

• Participates in infectious disease service rounds and provides pharmacotherapy recommendations
• Monitors drug interactions, dosing, and therapy effectiveness
• Contributes to formulary management and cost-effective therapy decisions
