Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks an Infectious Diseases/Antimicrobial Stewardship Clinical Pharmacist to support ASP initiatives across the system, primarily at Brigham and Women's Hospital with cross-site coverage. You will optimize antimicrobial therapy through direct clinical care and system-wide stewardship efforts, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, evidence-based prescribing.

Qualifications

• Eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in Massachusetts.
• Postgraduate training or work experience meeting one criterion: 1 year of postgraduate training, or 3 years of acute care practice, or board certification in infectious diseases within 18 months of hiring.
• Preferred: PGY2 ID residency or fellowship; current ID board certification.

Responsibilities

• Prospective audit and feedback on antimicrobial use.
• Interpretation of microbiology results and therapy optimization recommendations.
• Develop and implement clinical guidelines and workflows.
• Support regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and quality improvement initiatives.
