Job summary

University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine, seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor in Infectious Diseases to join the Division of ID at the Health Sciences Campus. The appointee will participate in inpatient and outpatient care, teaching residents and fellows, and advancing research initiatives.

The position emphasizes clinical excellence, education, and scholarly activity across USC hospitals, with opportunities in antimicrobial stewardship, transplantation ID, and epidemiology

Qualifications

• MD or DO and board certification or board-eligible in Infectious Diseases.
• Eligible for State of California medical licensure.
• Be eligible for faculty appointment at USC School of Medicine at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor per Keck policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient Infectious Diseases consultations across USC hospitals.
• Lead and participate in graduate medical education for residents and fellows.
• Engage in clinical care, teaching, and research to advance the ID division's missions.
