Job summary

The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine is recruiting for 2 full-time faculty members in the Professor of Clinical X or Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Assistant or Associate rank in Infectious Diseases. The salary ranges are Assistant $180,000-$250,000; Associate $220,000-$320,000.

Candidates must have MD/DO, be board certified in Internal Medicine, and board eligible/certified in Infectious

Qualifications

• Applicants must have M.D./D.O. degree or equivalent degree.
• Must be board certified in Internal Medicine.
• Must be board certified/board eligible in Infectious Diseases.
• Must be eligible for medical licensure in the State of California.
• Experienced in teaching and supervising medical students, residents and fellows.
• Two years of productive postdoctoral fellowship or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage in teaching, professional competence and activity, scholarly or creative activities, and University/public service.
• Engage in ongoing research and scholarly activities in Infectious Diseases, particularly transplant infectious diseases.
• Collaborate across a broad range of medical specialties and contribute to department, school and campus committees.
