The position requires ACPE-accredited PharmD, an ASHP-accredited residency or 3 years clinical experience, and Virginia licensure within 90 days. A $30k sign-on and $10k relocation are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a College of Pharmacy accredited by ACPE.
• ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Practice Residency or 3 years of experience in clinical pharmacy.
• License to practice Pharmacy in the Commonwealth of Virginia within 90 days of hire and full compliance thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Assist ID clinic with OPAT management and HIV & HepC patient care.
• Support Specialty Pharmacy: dispense, review orders, verify accuracy, and manage billing/insurance aspects.
• Oversee prior authorizations, appeals, and admissions with insurers and providers, ensuring timely medication access.
• Provide patient counseling and develop care goals with patients to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Coordinate with PSLs and clinical teams to obtain required documentation and support program needs.
