Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Infectious Diseases to lead department initiatives, educate colleagues and trainees, and drive antimicrobial stewardship. The role encompasses OPAT/CoPAT support, inpatient and outpatient ID care, and precepting residents.

The position emphasizes teaching, clinical optimization of antimicrobial therapy, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• ASHP-accredited residency required (PGY1/PGY2).
• PGY1 with 5+ years progressive clinical practice in ID or related field.
• PharmD or ACPE-accredited degree from an accredited school.
• Texas licensure or eligibility within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Lead ID pharmacy initiatives and education for residents and staff.
• Support OPAT/CoPAT services and inpatient/outpatient ID care.
• Assist antimicrobial stewardship and cost-effective formulary decisions.
• Precept pharmacy residents and students; mentor colleagues.
• Develop and implement policies ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in P&T activities.

Formation
